Dove Karaveg (they them) a queer narrative painter specializing in reviving neo-classical aesthetics to portray the power of transformation. They've worked as multi-disciplinary artist in the entertainment field on film and video games, and created low-barrier accessible art spaces called Garage of Eden and Art Monsters, for creative experimentation, critique, and community. They have also volunteered for Creative Growth: Art Center and The Asian American Women Artists Association.

Karaveg creates fantasy scenes dense in symbolic imagery. Their work captures sly figures in lush, overgrown nature, rendered realistically amongst perplexing surreal elements.

Drawing on personal experience growing up half Thai and white in the California Bay Area, their work explores narrative and identity through oil painting. Karaveg's work is heavily inspired by Pre-Raphaelite paintings, Buddhist themes and artwork, and the storytelling and fantasy of video games.
